Responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Applicants should have experience and a confident understanding of pre-op and perioperative roles. Perioperative experience should include scrub, circulating, and assistance with instruments and equipment. This position also oversees and/or processes and sterilizes surgical instruments and scopes. Maintains department inventory and manages employees, patient, and provider schedules. Qualifications: Experience in the OR setting. Current Mississippi RN license or current temporary RN license, BLS, and ACLS.

Performs the activities of the Accounts Payable Department including, but not limited to, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of patient refunds, invoices for goods and services, core employee expense reports and cash control. Processing weekly check runs based on approved policies & procedures. Reconciles vendor statements. Assists in the processing of 1099 documents at year end. Assists Payroll with Time and Attendance maintenance. Processes daily mail/mail log. Minimum of one-year experience in accounts payable preferably in a healthcare organization.

Responsible for performing all laboratory procedures and use of computer system for order entry and test reporting. Performs instrument maintenance and quality control in each area. Works under direct supervision of Laboratory Supervisor. Responsible for lab coverage during regular work shift and any other shift temporarily not covered. Responsible for inventory control, including check-in and placement and rotation of supplies. Must participate in Continuing Education program, COLA /The Joint Commission policy and procedures. Associate Degree in Laboratory Science or equivalent subject from an accredited college or university. Certification required. Two-year experience in general laboratory desired.

High school diploma/ GED required.  Minimum of 3 years’ health care office setting preferred.
