Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, and all other areas of the facility. Work also includes distributing linens to user departments and maintaining stock levels. Must follow standard practices and procedures and comply with regulatory requirements following infection control. This position will be scheduled to work as needed. Must be able to work days/evenings/weekends.

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the differences in techniques and treatment modalities as performed on patients of varying ages, including pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients. Exhibits knowledge of and complies with state, federal and JCAHO regulations.  Maintains ACLS and BLS certifications.  Sets up and monitors mechanical ventilators and the associated critical care duties required for treatment such as airway management and tracheal suctioning.  Performs arterial punctures to obtain arterial blood samples for blood gas analysis, and understands the possible complications and contraindications associated with the procedure.  Performs EKG’s as ordered.  Capable or working independently as an RT and assists other staff members as needed.

Responsible for the operation of diagnostic radiology equipment for the performance of all diagnostic radiology procedures including Routine Radiology Procedures and Computed Tomography at technical level not requiring direct supervision (Full Time will also include Nuclear Medicine). Education: Satisfactory completion of an accredited radiology training program. Experience: Minimum-Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Basic knowledge of radiography technical factors. Ability to improvise technical factors. Ability to make independent judgments whenever necessary. Preferred-Experience in Radiography and Computed Tomography. Licenses & Certifications: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensed by the State of Mississippi Department of Radiological Health.

Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.  Qualifications: Current Mississippi License or current temporary license with stated expiration date mandatory. CPR and basic fetal monitoring. Obtains ACLS within six months and neonatal resuscitation within one year of service.

 

 

Responsible for the processing of all incoming and outgoing calls; receipting over the counter payments; and registering and admitting patients. Position involves outpatient registration as well as emergency room registration.  Position is shift work and weekends.  One year registration/customer service required.

This is a multi-function position whose primary role is to maintain Data Entry activities as they relate to Account Receivables, Admission, Billing, Collections, Order Entry, and Utilization Review.  Maximize collection of all self-pay accounts in a timely manner including overseeing the financial assistance program.   Process incoming and outgoing calls, receipting over the counter payments; registering and admitting patients.  This position also oversees a team of registration staff for the Emergency Room and Hospital Admissions.  The successful candidate would have demonstrated ability to coordinate with Health Information Management and other departments to optimize the Revenue Cycle.   3 – 5 years of Hospital Experience is preferred with knowledge of health insurance, prior authorizations.

Administers, coordinates and supervises nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Mid-level Practitioner or Physician. Coordinate daily clinic activity and perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Coordinates clinical competency for all FHS clinics.  Reports to Clinic Administrator. RN Required. One to three years as an RN preferred.  Current MS license required.

Effectively navigate established Population Health/ACO initiatives with input from the Population Health Coordinator, medical staff, and other operational leaders by facilitating essential preventive care services to reduce the severity of chronic disease and avoidable acute illness. Coordinate and provide, personalized healthcare services to individuals through effective partnerships with patients, their caregivers/families, community resources, and their physician. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse required. Previous experience in caring for chronic disease patients required. 3-5 years experience in clinical or community health settings, Care Coordination, Case Management or Home Health experience preferred.

Responsible for performing venipunctures and specimen collection, properly labeling and processing samples, assisting with waived testing as assigned, and preparing specimens for send-out testing. The Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant also helps maintain supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensures accurate documentation, and supports a clean, safe, and organized work environment while providing friendly, professional service to patients; a dependable and patient-focused Phlebotomist/Laboratory Assistant to support daily operations. Lab experience is preferred.
