Richard J. Field, III, M.D., has been a member of Field Health System’s team of medical professionals since 2002. Dr. Field sees patients at Field Specialty Clinic in Centreville, MS and provides services for patients of all ages.

Dr. Field is a native of Centreville, MS and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Mississippi College. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Tulane School of Medicine in 1979. He did his surgical residency program with Tulane University Affiliate Hospitals and his Traumatic Orthopedics Fellowship at Tulane Orthopedics in New Orleans, LA.

Dr. Field’s professional memberships include the Tulane Surgical Society, Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, the American College of Surgeons, the Mississippi State Medical Association and the American Medical Association.  In addition, he is one of two surgeons in the state of Mississippi that was appointed to the Board of Governors of the American College of Surgeons.
