Provides independent, high-quality care and rapid stabilization for diverse patient populations in a rural emergency setting. Follows established, best-practice clinical standards and facility policies. Responsible for prompt assessment, triage, and comprehensive management of patients with acute illnesses and emergent conditions, while recognizing the developmental, cultural, and emotional needs of the populations served; UMMC TelEmergency certification required to support remote specialist consultation, advanced technology use, and effective patient care and disposition. Current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner required. Works closely with inpatient providers for appropriate admissions. Experience: 1-3 years preferred.
